Getting Your Handicap
To obtain a handicap you must submit 4 cards marked by someone with an official handicap, not necessarily a member of Nizels. When having a card marked only you and your marker should play. You must count every shot (including air shots!) and continue playing until you have 'holed out' on every hole. All completed cards, signed by both player and marker, must be put in the Ladies Competition Box in the Pro Shop. If you need someone to play with and mark your card for handicap purposes, please look at the notice board in the Ladies changing room, where a list of willing ladies is posted. At least one of your cards must be marked by a member of the committee, or a lady designated by the committee - a list of the committee members is displayed in the changing room or click here
To obtain a handicap for entering Nizels Ladies Competitions, you must achieve a score of 120 or below in at least one of your rounds, but please put in your first three cards (whatever the score), don't wait until you think it is a "good score" as all scores count towards your first handicap.Doubts about your handicap should be referred to the Handicap Secretary, but any member of the committee will be pleased to hear from you and offer advice.

Ladies must return a minimum of FOUR Qualifying Competition Scores, excluding No Returns, in an LGU year in order to maintain their Handicap and qualify for internal club competitions.
Please contact the Handicap Secretary if your score indicates that your handicap may need to be dropped immediately, for example: if you have played a qualifying competition at another course (away) and achieved a score which indicates that a change in handicap is required. Please return all results sheets from AWAY competitions to the Handicap Secretary.
